Classes with Marcel

I've spent the last 4 Thursdays painting this nude in a 'Skin Texture' class with Marcel Desbiens at Brisbane Painting Classes. Marcel is a wonderful teacher and I learnt many new techniques and tips.....now all I have to do is finish it!

Our first day of sightseeing in New York!! Perfect weather and lots of familiar and iconic places seen. Three weeks to enjoy this epic city and catch up with some of the wonderful people who have supported my art career from afar!! 🤗

Such a delight to reveal this recent posthumous portrait for a client of her much loved grandfather! Creating a forever memory of a loved one who is no longer with us is an emotional journey for everyone involved 🧡
